Women’s voices are important in today’s world. Voices of older women are especially significant for their perspective on decades lived, and lessons learned. Writing a memoir is one vehicle for telling stories documenting the history and societal change we have been a part of creating! Join OWL for a presentation on this unique form of getting voices of older women out into the world.

Every January we plan the programs for the coming year. We solicit ideas from our members, vote to determine the programs that will be given, and ask for teams to lead each effort.
In July we get together over lunch just to socialize..
Every December we have a Holiday Party. Sometimes it’s a pot-luck, sometimes a catered meal, and last year it was at Jannah Restaurant at 1775 Fulton Street. Sometimes we have music, sometimes a sing-along, and lately we’ve added a book swap. It’s always a good time. Hope you can join us next year.
