RALLY DECEMBER 10 FOR INTERNATIONAL HUMAN RIGHTS

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was signed by the United Nations in 1948, stating in 30 articles that “all people have certain unalienable rights.” In 2014, the City and County of San Francisco formally declared that this day would be celebrated every year thereafter. 

Join CARA, League of Women Voters, OWL and others to support immigrants and denounce the actions of ICE:

• Wearing masks and gear to conceal their identities
• Grabbing immigrants from court facilities where they have gone to perform their legal responsibilities
• Preventing immigrants from legal representation
• Grabbing immigrants from places of employment
• Holding immigrants in hazardous facilities and harassing them once they are there
• Tearing families apart, and
• Wreaking terror in immigrant populations in numerous settings
