HIDDEN BAY AREA ADVENTUREs
It’s summer – time to check out the best hiking trails, picnic sites, beaches, and horse paths. Join us for an informal no-fee evening of sharing those special Bay Area locales.
Michael Moran, naturalist with the East Bay Regional park District, will reveal the hidden treasures of Alameda and Contra Costa counties, and the rest of us will share our own favorite Bay Area outdoor adventures.
Come and have a glass of wine, schmooze, enjoy Michael Moran’s commentary, and tell us about your own special place – from the wilds of the Sonoma coast to a leisurely walk along the bay, to a little gem of a city park. Bring a notepad with you so you can jot down new discoveries.
We will also have a sign-up list for those interested in coordinating or joining others for a hike or a walk during the summer.
Location: Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, San Francisco State Downtown Campus, 835 Market Street, 6th floor, Room 664.
